The new Apogee album "The Art of Mind" will be released in May 2015 on Progressive Promotion Records:
The drums are again played by Ebi Graef and the Cover Art was created by Bernd Webler.

New Apogee Album "The Art of Mind"
My New Band "That Perfect Moment"
In Spring 2013 I founded a new Prog Band called "That Perfect Moment" together with Ebi Graef (drums, percussion), myself (guitar, vocals, bass, keyboards), Michael "Wolle" Wollesky (bass, guitar, vocals, guitar synthesizer, technical matters) and Frank Jung (guitar, vocals keyboards). "That Perfect Moment" play Progressive Rock with special focus on the golden age of this musical style, which was shaped in the early seventies by bands like Yes, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant, ELP. Apart from covers of famous songs out of this genre That Perfect Moment also play some original compositions of similar style. Vocal harmonies and versatile instrumentation are characteristic elements of our version of this nowadays rare mixture of meaty rock and complex, classical inspired arrangements. Apogee Album "Waiting for the Challenge" released in December 2012
This Apogee Album has been released by Musea Records in December 2012.
This time there is some more variety of musical styles, including multi layer vocal harmonies, hints of folk and metal and one fully orchestrated song.
The drums on the first two tracks are played by my brother in law Eberhard Graef and the drums on the remaining tracks are played by Versus X Drummer Thomas Reiner.

The new Apogee Album can be ordered (after its release) from Musea or though the Versus X online Shop (www.versus-x.de).
Some of my archive material from 1988 (prior to the formation of Versus X) has just been "officially" released by Mals Records in Russia. Its a double CD release called "Apogee featuring Gerald Heimann" containing the lengthy rock suites "Die Gläserne Wand" and "Schleifen". This album can be ordered at Mals Records Moscow, or though Musea Records (as import) or though the Versus X ShopVersus X online shop.
The German lyrics of this album were written by my friend Gerald Heimann. The new release contains english summaries of the German lyrics in the album booklet. The complete German lyrics of "Die Gläserne Wand" and "Schleifen" can be found on this website under the folder Lyrics.
